Meeting with Erasmus+ National Focal Point and EU delegation in Mauritania
The headquarters of the Delegation of the European Union in Mauritania hosted a meeting attended by the ASAF Co-Ambassador, the Erasmus+ National Focal Point and representatives of the EU Delegation in Mauritania to discuss the preparation of an upcoming Erasmus+ Day.
Mohamed Salem El Mahmoud Hamed, ASAF Co-Ambassador in Mauritania, had the honour of participating in the preparatory meeting for Erasmus+ Day, held at the headquarters of the Delegation of the European Union in Mauritania.
The main objective of the meeting was to coordinate efforts and define the programme’s key activities aimed at promoting Erasmus+ opportunities among students, academics, and institutions in Mauritania. Participants agreed to collaborate closely to ensure the event highlights the impact of Erasmus+ initiatives and encourages greater participation in future mobility and cooperation projects.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to present the mission, objectives, and organisational structure of the African Students and Alumni Forum (ASAF). Participants expressed their strong interest in fostering active collaboration with ASAF to promote academic mobility and intercultural exchange within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
