Held at the New Park Resort Hotel in Mahajanga, the event aimed to empower students and educators by spotlighting the benefits of the Erasmus+ programme.

The event brought together over 150 participants, including students, teachers, and university administrative and technical staff. Its objective was to highlight the wide range of opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme in terms of international mobility, academic cooperation, and professional development.

The day featured presentations, testimonials from former Erasmus+ scholars, and interactive exchanges. Distinguished guests included:

  • Prof Hery Lisy Tiana Ranarijaona , Director General of Scientific Research at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (online)

The event was coordinated by Mr Mark Dylon Julien, Co-Ambassador of ASAF in Madagascar, with the support of local peers, the University of Mahajanga, and international partners. Their joint commitment ensured the success of the initiative, which attracted new Erasmus+ candidates and enhanced ASAF’s visibility in the country.

As Madagascar strengthens its ties with European education programmes, this event marked an important step toward empowering its next generation of changemakers.
