Africa's escalating youthful population is argued to be a valuable resource with immense opportunities for continental and global transformation. Education is an instrument for harnessing the immense opportunities of the continent's youth. On 30th June, ASAF Ghana members took part in an information session on higher education at the University of Education, Winneba. The event attracted over 200 participants and was graced by the presence of university officials, officials from the European Union delegation to Ghana, the German embassy, DAAD, and other stakeholders in higher education. The event had booths where participants could obtain firsthand information about study opportunities. ASAF members also interacted with participants who were curious about ASAF and related opportunities for higher education. Dr Nelly Sakyi Hagan, Dr Esenam Annor, and Felix Kwabena Donkor were some of the ASAF Ghana members who represented at the event.
