On 10 December 2025, ASAF led the “Initiative for Green Entrepreneurship and Community Environmental Action” in Maputo, Mozambique. The event focused on grassroots environmental restoration.

Over two days, 200 participants — including ASAF members, local residents, unemployed youth, university students and institutional representatives — worked together to clean and restore two public spaces in the Xipamanine and Fajardo neighborhoods. Through hands-on training sessions, attendees learned practical waste management and recycling skills and explored opportunities in green business development. Activities included:

• The restoration of two public spaces
• 16 hours of voluntary service contributed by ASAF members
• Development of a community environmental action plan
• Establishment of a network of local environmental champions

The initiative demonstrated a successful integration of environmental action, entrepreneurial training, and EU awareness — a model that can be replicated in other communities.
