In April 2025, ASAF Board Member Roshan Halkhoree actively participated in two major events within the European alumni and mobility community: the WBAA General Assembly in Sarajevo and the garagErasmus Annual Meeting in Milan.

On 13 April, Mr. Halkhoree attended the General Assembly of the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA), where he engaged with members of WBAA and representatives from sister networks, including OCEANS, garagErasmus, and the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA). He contributed to discussions that reflected shared challenges and opportunities among the networks. “Many of the discussions resonated with the experiences we face in ASAF, underlining the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange,” he remarked.

During a panel discussion on the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA), Mr. Halkhoree stressed the need for closer cooperation among the networks. In the subsequent Q&A session, he also presented an overview of ASAF’s governance structure and operational approach, offering valuable insight into its role within the broader Erasmus+ ecosystem.

Two days later, on 15 April, Mr. Halkhoree took part in the garagErasmus Foundation’s 2025 Annual Meeting in Milan. A highlight of the event was a high-level panel discussion featuring delegates from EMA, OCEANS, WBAA, and ASAF. The panel explored themes such as expanding access to underrepresented regions, fostering global alumni connectivity, and leveraging mobility as a catalyst for intercultural understanding and socioeconomic development.

The Annual Meeting was distinguished by dynamic exchanges, forward-looking ideas, and a shared recommitment to the core values of the Erasmus initiative. Through interactive sessions and cross-sector dialogue, the event underscored garagErasmus' strategic role in advancing European mobility, inclusion, and innovation.

Mr. Halkhoree’s participation in both events reinforced ASAF’s active engagement in shaping the future of international education and alumni collaboration.
