Education is universally recognised as a vital tool for social transformation and progress. This is underlined in the African Union’s Agenda 2063 (The Africa We Want) as well as espoused in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The complexity of the challenges in the educational sector calls for collaboration between core stakeholders, including governments, civil society, and non-governmental organisations, amongst others.

educataGhana is an educational fare held every two years that brings together major players in education to foster partnerships that enhance quality in the delivery of education and its allied industries. The theme for 2022 was “Resilient Education and Training for Business Success”. This year’s event took place from the 12th to the 13th of October in Accra, Ghana. The EU delegation to Ghana, together with some ASAF alumni, managed a booth where they exhibited Erasmus+ scholarship programmes, in dialogue with prospective students, industry players, and the general public. Several visitors expressed great interest and the desire to apply for the next cycle of the Erasmus call. Alumni also helped to answer some of the vital questions put forward by visitors. In total the event attracted over 40 exhibitors and 2000 participants.
