The participants came to the conclusion that ASAF’s vision includes – among other goals – bringing together alumni, improving the quality of Higher Education in Africa and boosting the socio-economic development on the African continent. They highlighted that the African Union hopes that ASAF will become an advisory body at the Pan-African level on Higher Education issues and student’s mobility. The topic of the Workshop and the Public High Table Session was: “Human resource development, international cooperation and the modernisation of higher education in Africa: the role of mobility students and alumni.”
