The European Commission (Directorate-General for Development Cooperation) will host the next European Development Days (EDD) in Brussels from 15 to 16 June 2021. The event (which was initially scheduled for 2020 but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak) will focus on “The Green Deal for a Sustainable Future” (for more information, click here).

It will include a “Young Leaders Programme”: 17 young people aged 21-26, representing the powerful impact that youth can have on sustainable development, will be invited to Brussels for 10 days. They will meet EU experts, stakeholders and play a prominent role in the EDD Programme, including speaking in various sessions alongside global leaders (for more information, click here).

The European Commission’s Directorate General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) will invite two ASAF members to support its promotional activities at the EDDs, in particular interacting with visitors at DG EAC’s stand or taking part in mini panels.
